It’s so wonderful to have a little girl around if you are a crocheter! One of my favorite things to make for my daughter Emma-Noel was this mermaid tail blanket. It was so cozy and so beautiful, we had a lot of fun photographing them.
Of course I named the pattern after her, the Emma-Noel Mermaid Tail Blanket.

For this tail I used Red Heart Super Saver in Light Blue held together with a very thin rainbow thread I found at an estate sale. The rainbow thread is what gives it the shimmer effect, which I love!
For this tail I used Caron Simply Soft in Light Country Peach, held together with a very thin rainbow thread to give it a rainbow shimmer.
For this tail I used Red Heart Super Saver in Light Blue, held together with a very thin variegated blue thread to give it a bit of an ombre effect.
For this tail I used Red Heart Comfort in Hot Pink, held together with a very thin pink variegated thread to give it a shimmer effect.
My little girl is getting bigger every day, I know I’ll treasure these adorable photos of her for years to come ❤
Enjoy, and happy crocheting!
